Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful spring weather- perfect for Easter egg hunts!  What great memories I have from my childhood with Easter egg hunts.  I always wanted to find the pink eggs, and I didn't care about the other colors!  I think pink is in my blood!

Last night, we brought back the family tradition of coloring Easter eggs while reminiscing on past dying events.  

Hope the bunny brought you all something wonderful!  Do you think the bunny is pink, brown, or white?!?!

Ahhhh.... exams are over and I have arrived on the island.  After a long day of travelling, it's nice to be finally back to my second home in #HHI.  @creativeone is in Rome, and @chillhipster has headed south to Florida.  Even, @boynextdoor is somewhere besides home, on a mission trip to Georgia.


On the way down to #HHI, we drove at a leisurely pace as we were in no rush to get to the super dark island.  We traveled by a different route this year, and I was amazed at the the scenery.  We stopped several times and I took some great pictures of the #beautifulsouth.  

 

I will be here for four days... think I have enough stuff?!?!

#butseriously.  I am soooo excited for spring break!  Knowing that in approximately 8 days I will be taking walks on the beach and eating delicious surf -and-turf for dinner is the only thing getting me through exam week.  I love heading to the beach because it's one place where dressing up and wearing cute shoes is always a must.  Wearing a crew-neck sweatshirt, a cute pair of shorts, and my favorite flats to walk on the beach is my dream vacation.  Seriously, the sun is shining, yet the ocean breeze makes the long walks enjoyable.  Life cannot get any better! 

Sometimes we just need the relaxation of the beach to reevaluate our life goals and to maintain our inner and outer beauty. Dig your toes in the sand for a natural foot massage.  Let your hair flow in the wind to get that beachy look.  Wear a sarong with your favorite bathing suit.  Catch up on some zzzzz's and let your mind wander.  


Beach To-Do List
1.  RELAX!
2.  Watch the moon come up out of the ocean
3.  Write messages in the sand
4.  Wear a floppy hat, sunglasses, and read magazines
5.  Snooze on the beach
6.  Build a sandcastle
7.  Read cheesy romance novels
8.  Eat fish, lots of it
9.  Listen to the soothing waves
10.  Enjoy your days!

With St. Patrick's Day in exactly one week, I felt it appropriate to begin this lovely day with an Irish proverb.

Who would have thought that on March 10th we would have sunny clear skies with temperatures in the mid-50s. The tulips are blooming, smiles are up to the sunglasses resting on noses, and people are using the green space on campus for laying out, playing frisbee, and eating lunch.  Unfortunately, many of us are stuck inside studying for finals... what a pain.  


So for all of my college friends out there, here is some humor to brighten your day and to relieve some of your stress.  @chillhipster died laughing at this one, and @creativeone would be totally obsessed (it might actually further her obsession with boobs, to be honest).




I've heard that in times of stress, it's positive to go to the gym to work it out of the body.  But honestly, who actually has time to workout at the gym when you are busy examining every single possible relationship, seeing how fast everyone else is.... what is she wearing?!#butseriously #wehavealldoneit.  So my advice, if you have time, go for a run outside, where you can't judge anyone.

When all else fails, you might as well blog.  There is nothing worse than attempting to catch up on some sleep only to find that your mind is not ready.  So as I sit here in bed tweeting @cripplingcleveland, all I want is to be on the beach.  Hilton Head Island is calling my name!  #cantwait #sandandsun
