This, my friends, is the problem. With men, it's easy. They get mad, fight, and it's over. But with us, it's so much more, how should I say it, #sassy and #complicated. We allow the feelings to build up inside, ponder them over, tell our friends who then develop their own hatred towards the person, and then finally a huge blowup. We, as women, need to learn to communicate our feelings more efficiently and in a better way.
So there is this one problem that many girls and women have, the ability to roll their eyes. Don't lie, you have done it. We all have, in fact, as a gender, we have mastered the art. As a child, the eye roll maybe directed at parents, in high school- teachers, college- professors, boyfriends, and in the "big-girl" job world- at other women.
@creativeone @crazycoffeenerd and @chillhipster think I am feminist because I enjoy watching TED talks created by women, for women. If you get the chance, check out Sheryl Sandberg's talk on Why We Have Too Few Women Leaders #inspirational. It's up to us, as women, to step up and make a change in the world for ourselves and future generations. We need to stop being so sassy and get over ourselves in order to accomplish anything. No longer are women required to work in the home, raising the children, although it is an option. #whatiwanttosee is more women as leaders in companies across the globe. Unite together to create this future.
Change the world, and cut back on the sass.
